She may be a Grinch, but she’ll make you laugh, according to shelter staff.

If you’re on the lookout for a grumpy cat that is making you laugh— instead of snuggles and kisses— then Perdita, nicknamed the “World’s Worst Cat,” is your friend.
The 4-year-old domestic shorthair was rescued on Christmas Eve by Mitchell County Animal Rescue in Spruce Pine, North Carolina after she was abandoned due to the death of her previous owner, Brittany Taylor, the shelter’s office manager, told ABC News.
She was “pretty sweet” when Perdita first came to the shelter, but it didn’t make her look to show her true colors.
“The next day, she was a grump,” Taylor said. “We thought something was hurting her, but it turns out she’s just a jerk.”
According to the director of the shelter, Amber Lowery, Perdita enjoys “starting into your soul until you feel like you might never be happy again,” Ted Nugent’s song “Cat Scratch Fever,” the 2019 thriller “Pet Sematary,” lurking in dark corners and jumping out to scare others.
Pedita’s dislikes include the pink color, kittens— because of their chipper nature— pets, Dixie Chicks girls, Disney Christmas movies and hugs, Lowery wrote on Facebook.
“She’s single and ready to be socially awkward with a socially awkward human who understands personal space,” Lowery said.
Taylor thinks Perdita would make a great cat inside for owners “wanting a good laugh every once in a while,” she said. “She always makes you laugh.” “She gives you a minute, and she’s over it for a minute.”
