Welcome to ThreeTn, we hope you like this article. After Marcy’s family were expelled last year, they packed out and left her to fend for herself. She found shelter in a neighbor’s yard in an old cardboard box and lived there for several months until in December somebody finally decided that they would no longer be able to let her live like that.
Rebecca McGinn visited her brother for her niece’s birthday when he told her about a cat living in his yard. She walked out to see if Marcy was going to let her view her— and immediately fell in love.
McGinn knew that as soon as she saw Marcy, sick and poor, she was taking her home. “I decided to adopt her in a soggy cardboard bag, shivering and getting sore eyes,” McGinn told The Dodo. “She went up for pets as soon as she saw me and was so sweet and affectionate.
Since McGinn first brought her in, Marcy was in a very awful condition and was found to have eye problems, bacteria, asthma, lung infection, and skin problems that caused her fur to drop out of clumps.
Marcy was so pleased to finally have soft, cuddly spots to curl up after everything she’d been through, and is now addicted to all comfortable things.
“It’s cuddled up with me and my husband that she likes most,” McGinn said. “She’s 100 percent fascinated with blankets and people. She likes to be covered and tucked in. She is on or in a smooth blanket 99 percent of the moment!”
Whether it’s pillows…
Marcy is now an expert in discovering comfortable places to sleep, or one of her fresh beings, and she has no plans to end that habit soon.
“She has the most caring, sweetest character,” said McGinn. “She’s amazingly clingy and loves attention. With everyone, she’s so hot and confident.” ThreeTn thanks you for your interest in this topic, and invites you to browse and read more in the next article.
